Narrows Baseball Club 16U Claws Back, But Falls Just Short Against Blaze Baseball 16u

Narrows Baseball Club 16U fought back after falling down by five runs in the fifth inning. The comeback fell just short though, in a 7-5 defeat to Blaze Baseball 16u on Sunday. Narrows Baseball Club 16U scored three runs on a double in the sixth inning.

Narrows Baseball Club 16U took an early lead in the first inning. An error scored one run for Narrows Baseball Club 16U.

Blaze Baseball 16u knotted the game up at one in the bottom of the second inning. An error scored one run for Blaze Baseball 16u.

Blaze Baseball 16u took the lead for good with three runs in the third inning. In the third Kimball singled off of Griffin Bakken  (Gig Harbor High School) (PC Diamond Jaxx) driving in two runs and Wiseman singled off of Bakken, driving in one run.

Narrows Baseball Club 16U scored three runs in the sixth inning. Narrows Baseball Club 16Uscored its runs on a double by Anders Vogel.

Blaze Baseball 16u scored three runs in the fifth inning. Blaze Baseball 16u’s big inning was driven by a error, a single by Mccormick, and a passed ball.

Taafe earned the win for Blaze Baseball 16u. He went five innings, giving up two runs, four hits, and striking out eight. Two relievers helped Blaze Baseball 16u close out the victory. Mchlachlan threw two-thirds of an inning. Bakken  (Gig Harbor High School) (PC Diamond Jaxx) took the loss for Narrows Baseball Club 16U. He threw three innings, allowing four runs, and four hits.

Grady GloverMaverick EsserNathaniel BeersVogelHunter Payne, and Jayden Bunch each collected one hit to lead Narrows Baseball Club 16U.

Kimball led Blaze Baseball 16u with two runs batted in. He went 1-for-4 on the day.
